  Ingredients were fresh and portions generous although, as others have said, the sauces were high in sugar and not terribly authentic. The curry puffs were very good though.

  My family dined in at Ocean Delight tonight. We thought we'd splurge out on a banquet. Unfortunately I had one of the worst service and food experiences there and definitely would not recommend anyone to go to their dine in or takeaway options.
  
  After recieving some satay sticks I proceeded to cut one in half and saw quite pink chicken. I promptly let the waitress know that it was quite pink and that I was not sure of the cut of chicken as sometimes thighs can be slightly more pinkish, she kind of just looked blankly and said she'd speak to the chef about it before whisking my plate away to the kitchen. A few minutes went past and she came back to explain to me that the chef was adamant that my chicken was cooked and the pink colour was from left over chicken blood in the cut of meat. The waitress spoke the words and didnt seem taken aback by my shock, even when I said well thats as gross as the chicken being undercooked isnt it. Even though the chef was adamant on the chicken being cooked my plate was not returned to my table and no apology was offered.
  
  Obviously for the rest of the meal I was feeling quite disgusted by the food itself (as if I wanted to willingly eat more chicken blood dishes) and the lack of service as a whole. I brought it up to the waitress again who just jittered about uncomfortably when I let her know that it was not okay to serve me undercooked chicken or chicken blood. She didnt take the feedback back to the kitchen as I overheard her laughing at something just 30 seconds later.
  
  The service as a whole is pretty ordinary. We had to wait ages for water and drinks (our soup came out before any drinks), the waitress didnt know what was in a special combination and I got bumped in to and no apology. At the end of our meal the waitress just looked like she did not care at all about our lack of service or the quality of the food. We paid our $110 for our meal and left, shocked and appalled that we did not recieve so much as an apology regarding the feedback I provided. A decent restaurant would atleast acknowledge a bad experience and work to rectify customer dissatisfaction. This place showed their professionalism in their silence.
  
  All in all it was a completely unsatisfactory experience. I wouldnt ever recommend it. I wouldnt ever return. Alarm bells shouldve been sounding when there were only two other tables seated at 8pm on a Saturday night. If I could give it less than 1 star I would.

  I'm not sure it even deserves one star. I'm a local and very happy to support local restaurants.......but the food was so bad. I don't think any meal was freshly prepared. We ordered from the chefs specials and the main menu, I was surely disappointed.
